Chapter 4 Part IV Deterioration

Deterioration

Have I falling away? How does one fall away from the word of God? In these last days, these are two very important questions which all Believers should constantly ask themselves.
One thing that Believers must begin to understand is that the Falls is not always sudden. One does not instantly fall. From the onset to its completion, the Falls is a gradual occurrence which involves time. And since it is gradual, the Falls is quite deceptive and almost invisible to the untrained mind. The physical materialization of the Falls may seem sudden, but the process of the Falls is in motion long beforehand.

In the parable of the 2 foundations, Jesus gives a great illustration of this rather frequent occurrence (Matt 7:24-27). (Matthew 7:26-27 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.)

Before we continue, let us recall some very important details. As we have learned in Parables, Jesus’ parables were used to illustrate a particular moral attitude, mindset or religious principle. Contrary to some popular teachings, these parables are not bound or limited by time. They were not given specifically to a historical Israel. Let us now examine the moral attitudes or mindset. and the religious principles that are found in this parable; specifically the individual whose house fell.

The first thing that we must become aware of is, that the parable of the 2 foundations deals with the end times. Not only does it deal with the state of the end times but it refers to the end of all the different states of life. It can be applied to the end of a life, the end of a business, the end of a marriage, the end of a career, etc…

Now the second thing that we should notice is the processes which caused the fall of the house. Notice that Jesus mentions all of the events that lead to fall in plural form (rain, floods, winds,). This automatically tells us that these events were more than one time occurrences. More than likely, all of these events occurred over a period of many years. It is very important that we understand where the fall of the house began. It did not begin with the initial rain, floods, and winds.

Contrary to what many may believe, the fall of the house did not begin with the initial agitations and disturbances. This is also true in life. A fall of any kind does not begin with the initial agitations and disturbances. So the first rain, floods, or winds did not begin the fall of the house. The fall of the house begins at the very beginning of construction. For those who are not yet aware, construction does not begin in the physical realm. Construction begins in the mind. The fall of the house began in the mind of the foolish man who constructed it. The very instant that this individual made the decision to build his house on the sand, was the very moment that the house began to fall. This is why Jesus classified this fellow as foolish. He had a foolish mindset. Let us define foolish.

Definitions (Merriam Webster)
1. Foolish: Function: (adj) 1 : lacking in sense, judgment, or discretion 2 a : ABSURD, RIDICULOUS b : marked by a loss of composure : NONPLUSSED, ABASHED

2. Insanity: (n) 1: a deranged state of the mind usually occurring as a specific disorder (as schizophrenia) 2 : such unsoundness of mind or lack of understanding as prevents one from having the mental capacity required by law to enter into a particular relationship, status, or transaction or as removes one from criminal or civil responsibility 3 a : extreme folly or unreasonableness b : something utterly foolish or unreasonable

By studying the definitions we can see that a foolish individual lacks sense, judgement, and discretion. This tells us that the man who built his house on the sand was lacking in sense and discretion and therefore was unable to make sound judgements. In other words he was insane.
In this parable Jesus shows us the kind of mindset that is one of the leading causative agents of the Falls. The Falls is not caused by environmental agitations and disturbances. It is caused by weak and foolish minds who are unable to make sound judgements. These weak and foolish minds will then move to build houses on weak and foolish foundations. And since they are weak, these foundations are unable to withstand the coming and recurring agitations and disturbances of the world .

You see, in this life, the most telling trait of a fool is that he or she does not know that they are a fool. Fools are totally oblivious about their foolishness. Fools tend to see things in reverse. They tend to see themselves as rising even though they are falling. They generally see themselves as wise and everybody else as fools. We can almost guarantee you that the foolish man who built his house on the sand was laughing at the wise man who built his house on the rock. He thought that the guy who built his house on the rock was the fool. He was probably saying to himself, “Look at that fool, he is giving up this beautiful beachfront location to build on those hideous rocks”. He did not understand that a wise man’s decisions are not dictated by the superficial aspects of life.

We have noticed that in today’s world, many Believers have adopted the dangerous attitude and mindset of that foolish man. They are lacking in sense and discretion and therefore are unable to make sound judgements. They have become foolish and therefore insane. No one can convince them otherwise. They have built there houses on false doctrines of sand. These doctrines have no stable foundation or basis, but yet many Believers are clinging to them. They love that beachfront view. After all, its about Location! Location! Location! No one can convince them to repent and relocate. They have been infected by the Falls and now it is just a matter of time. Timberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Chapter 4 Part III Parables

Parables

In order to truly comprehend the events that have been taking shape in this world, Believers must first be able to understand the significance of Jesus’ parables. Unbeknownst to most, these parables deal with the time of the end. They are very important instruments which can be used to understand the state of the world and the people who inhabit it.

We must first understand that Jesus’ parables are not constrained by time. Contrary to some popular beliefs, these parables were not restricted to a historical Israel. These parables encompass the whole world. No one is exempt and no one is left out. Now in order for us to understand this point, let us first define parable.

Definitions (Merriam Webster)
1. Parable: (n) : EXAMPLE; specifically : a usually short fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious principle
2. Moral: (adj)1 a : of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior : ETHICAL *moral judgments* b : expressing or teaching a conception of right behavior c : conforming to a standard of right behavior d : sanctioned by or operative on one's conscience or ethical judgment
3. Religious: (adj) 1 : relating to or manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality or deity *religious attitudes* 2: of, relating to, or devoted to religious beliefs or observances *joined a religious order* 3 a : scrupulously and conscientiously faithful b : FERVENT, ZEALOUS
4. Principle: (n) 1 a: a comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption b (1) : a rule or code of conduct (2) : habitual devotion to right principles *a man of principle* c : the laws or facts of nature underlying the working of an artificial device 2 : a primary source : ORIGIN 3 a: an underlying faculty or endowment *such principles of human nature as greed and curiosity* b : an ingredient (as a chemical) that exhibits or imparts a characteristic quality 4 capitalized , Christian Science : a divine principle : GOD

From its definition we can see that a parable is a short story which is told to illustrate a moral attitude, or mindset or a religious principle. Or better yet, One can say that a parable is:

A. a usually short fictitious story which is told to illustrate principles of right and wrong in behavior, : ETHICAL (Moral 1a) or attitude or a religious comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption (Principle 1a).
B. a usually short fictitious story which is told to illustrate a conception of right behavior (Moral 1b) or attitude or a religious rule or code of conduct or devotion to right principles (Principle 1b1&2)
C. a usually short fictitious story which is told to illustrate a standard of right behavior (Moral 1c)or attitude or a religious law or fact of nature underlying the working of an artificial device (Principle 1c)
D. a usually short fictitious story which is told to illustrate one's conscience or ethical judgment (Moral 1d) or attitude or a religious principle

Before we continue, there is a general misconception which needs to be addressed. In order to completely understand the term (religious principle), it is important for us to understand that religion or being religious does not always involve the worship of a deity. If you will look at the definition you will see that religious also relates to, manifesting faithful devotion to an acknowledged ultimate reality. This means that whatever one has acknowledged and faithfully devoted themselves to in this world as their ultimate reality, becomes their religion. Since this is the case, those who adhere to Communism, Socialism, Fascism, Democracy, or any other form of government or system are practicing a religion. So whether they realise it or not, everyone is religious and everyone has a religion.

As we can now see, a parable is all inclusive. Whether right or wrong, all humans in this world are governed by morals, and all humans are governed by religious principles.
Now, when One reads a parable there are certain steps that One must take in order to comprehend it. First, One must identify the elements or characters. Each element, or character in a parable is always symbolic of various things, people or conditions of the current world. Secondly, Since each element, or character is symbolic, one must then correctly match it to that thing or things, person or persons and condition or conditions that is present in the world. For example, in the parable of the sower (Matt 13: 3- 8) the sower is the Son of Man, the field is the world, the thorns are the worries of the world, the seeds are different groups of people etc. After this is done the individual should be able to better understand the parable

Finally, if you will notice, the various themes of Jesus’ parables are always constant. They do not change. All of his parables deal with people and their present states or conditions. This is because spirits and conditions are constant. People may die, but spirits and conditions will remain. You will always have the spirit of foolishness or foolish people (Matt 7:26). You will always have people with various talents (Matt. 25:14-30). You will always have good Samaritans (Luke 10:30-37) And you will always have evil and unforgiving people (Matt 18: 23-35) This is the main reason why those who theorise that the parables of Jesus are limited to a historical Israel are greatly mistaken. Evil, good Samaritans, talents, foolishness, and wisdom are not limited to a specific sphere or a historic time period. These are all spirits and conditions which are always recurring.

Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Chapter 4 Part II The Frogs Without Realisation

The Frogs Without Realisation

When we survey the world that is here today, we are reminded of Luke 17:26-30. We notice the many similarities between these times and Noah and Lots’ days. One thing that is glaringly obvious when we study the people in those days is their obliviousness. These people had no idea that they were in the path of imminent destruction. To put it in biblical terms; they had no idea that they were in the path of an angry God.

We are therefore reminded of an old experiment of the frog in the pot. There is an old experiment were one places a frog in a pot of temperate or cool water. After a while, the pot is placed on a stove and the heat is turned up slowly over a period of time. By the end of the experiment the frog will have been boiled to death without its knowledge.

From this experiment One is supposed to notice that the frog was not aware that it was in a life-ending situation. This is because the frog is first placed in a familiar environment. It is familiar with the cool water of its upbringing. Since it is in familiar environment, whenever the heat was incrementally turned up, the frog‘s body would naturally adjust to its surroundings. Now when the experiment was repeated and the frog is tossed into the already heated water, the frog would immediately try to jump out to safety.

This is what is happening in the world today, and this is also what occurred in Noah and Lot‘s day. The people ate, drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, and they builded. They did not notice the signs which pointed to their imminent destruction. They were in a familiar environment. Noah preached and warned the people of his generation, but they refused to listen. (2 Peter 2:5) Likewise, Lot also warned his generation, but they thought he was mocking. (Genesis 19:14)

All of these people had made the same mistakes which this generation has succeeded in repeating today. They were blinded by their assumptions. Their assumptions had created such a strong illusion in their minds, that Noah and Lot were unable to reach them. They had convinced themselves of their own rightness. The signs and the warnings were increasing, but they just brushed them off and adapted.

You see in this life, there are always signs before imminent destruction falls. There are always indications which presage any major occurrence. The problem never lies with the abundance or the lack of abundance of signs and indicators. The problem always lies with mans inability to see and know what is occurring. This is why God states in Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. It is amazing that in this day and age, man can use the signs of the sky to discern the weather, but yet he cannot use the signs to discern impending destruction (Matthew 16:3)

What many people in this day and age have still failed to grasp, is the difference between seeing and knowing. They still do not understand that seeing does not always translate into knowing. They see the signs but they have no idea what they portend. Let us for one moment continue to use the frog as an example. We can guarantee you that the frog was not physically blind. The frog probably saw the stove, the pot, and the water. It saw the three signs of its demise without knowing it. This stems from the fact that the frog is not familiar with the conjunctional history of these three objects. If it had known the conjunctional history of these objects, he would have known that seeing these objects apart was no big deal, but to see them assembled together spelled significant trouble.

Besides ignorance, there is another reason why the frog was unable to perceive its dangerous situation. It is called familiarity. Familiarity tends to bring a false sense of assurance. When the frog was introduced into the water it came into contact with a substance which it was well acquainted with. This in turn allowed the frog to become more complacent. Now through this introduction, the small chance of the frog perceiving his situation has all but disappeared. As we all know, water has always been one of the frogs’ closest friends. It could never harm it, or could it? The frog didn’t know that his good friend water, when manipulated in another environment was deadly to it.

They all see the warning signs, but the majority have become so ignorant and so convinced of their own rightness that they have no knowledge of their meanings. They have seen the droughts. They just brush them off, adapt, and think; big deal. After all there was the Dust Bowl and they are still here. They see the wildfires. They brush them off and think; big deal, fires happen. They see the four major hurricanes go through Florida in one season. They see a hurricane destroy a city. They adapt, and try to rebuild, and think; no big deal, we have seen hurricanes before. They see the increase of strange weather. They adapt. They continue in their ways. They see injustices. They adapt. No big deal. Just as long as it is not them. At least not yet. They see their country with record and astronomical deficits. No sweat. Once again they adapt, and they keep going. Their leaders lead them into a war under false pretenses. No problem. They adapt; after all they had Vietnam and they’re still here. They see an earthquake which kills close to 300,000 people. They adapt. No big deal earthquakes happen all the time. They have seen it all before. No sweat. They are the greatest country in the world. God is on their side.

Through this all the heat is steadily becoming hotter, but they don’t notice. Unbeknownst to them, they have all become frogs in a pot. They have no awareness of their situation. They just adapt and continue; untill it is too late.

Revelation 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof [are] the ways of death.

Chapter 4 Part I Hidden in Plain Sight. Deception by Perception

Hidden in Plain Sight. Deception by Perception

1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would [no doubt] have continued with us: but [they went out], that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

Matthew 24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

How does an evil killer hide in plain sight while everyone is searching for him? This is the question that many people have asked in the past regarding the now infamous BTK killer and other elusive murders. This is also a question that many Believers will be asking after the Final Great Gentile Leader or Anti-Christ has caused great harm and damage to countless millions of lives. How? How? How? How did they miss the BTK killer? How do they keep missing these people?

Well the answer to this question is actually quite simple. It is the same way that many Germans missed Hitler, and it is the same way that many murderers from around the world go undetected. You see, BTK killer was a member of the community. He went to church in the community. He ate, helped, talked, laughed, and played with the people in the community. So when it came time to find out who was killing the people in the community, it never dawned on the people to look amongst themselves.

This type of fraud is called deception by perception. It is one of the oldest techniques known to man. All intelligence agents are taught this craft for covert operations. They are taught to blend in and become one with the community in order to accomplish their objectives. The reason why this technique is so effective is because of man’s tendencies. Most people are not aware of this, but man has a tendency to do four things. First he has a tendency to adopt or embrace. After an individual has mingled or is seen by the community for a any length of time, he or she is adopted as one of their own. This is witnessed in society’s embrace and adoption of celebrities. In many households, without even truly knowing the individual, many celebrities are felt to be part of the family.

Secondly, man has a tendency to form emotional attachments. It is a fact that most humans are lead and governed by their emotions. This means that over time after seeing or meeting an individual, and after adopting him into the community, many will develop emotional bonds. This bond will tend to cloud or interfere with their ability to reason. This is also seen in society’s love for their celebrities.

Thirdly, man has a tendency to become biased toward those who he perceives to be his own. This tendency arises from the previous two. Man will always overlook his own whenever a question arises regarding improper actions. One will always think and say “Oh so and so would never do such a thing,” or “Oh no not so and so. I know him .” This is especially evident, when he feels that the individual is coming under attack from someone who is not part of their community. Without reasoning or objectively examining the evidence, many will immediately rise to the defense of the most corrupt individual.

Fourthly, because of the first three tendencies, man has a tendency to make excuses. When the evidence of impropriety becomes overwhelming against one who is perceived to belong, man will start making excuses. With those excuses, he tries to justify that person’s actions. This is what happened in Germany. The people saw the evidence, but Hitler was perceived to be one of their own. They had developed strong emotional attachments and had become biased. And since this was the case many would say: “He couldn’t possible be doing these things, and even if he was there must be a good reason for it. This type of behavior is called denial, and it is a dangerous disease.

All these tendencies arise from the fact, that in today’s world, many people have failed to realise that external familiarity tends to bring a false sense of assurance. As we have emphasized in I See Therefore I Know, seeing is not knowing. Most people today, are of the assumption that visual interaction translates into personal knowledge. Many people will feel that they know a celebrity because they have seen him or her on the television. This belief is dangerous. The problem with this is that external images are pliable. They can be easily bent, folded, decorated, twisted, and manipulated so as to fit a particular purpose. By concentrating on manipulated external features, one fails to see the true person behind those features.

This is exactly what occurred in The Wizard Of Oz. Here was this little old man who had deceived all that were around him; through the manipulation and exaggeration of his image. He appeared to be a great, head, a lovely lady, and a great ball of fire. All were deceived by the images that he portrayed on the screen. In reality he was but a little old man.

So manipulating ones image is not hard to do. This is why Paul states in 1 Corinthians 2:11 (For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.) You see man is able to manipulate his physical surroundings, but his spirit will stay the same. The image of a man can lie, but his spirit can not. The spirit of a man is like his DNA. It is 100.0 % accurate in identifying his true motives and intentions. In order to see the real man one must look past the image and examine his spirit.

“Belief is not the foundation of Existence, it does not negate, and it cannot create.”

Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
